Our Bears and Arrows of Light recently took a trip North to visit the UMass life flight and EMS 911 call center. They got to sit in the helicopter, learn about the equipment being used and check out the dispatch area.
Tonight, we celebrated our Arrow of Light scouts as they complete their cub scouting journey with Pack 7. A huge congrats to our scouts who are crossing over to Troop 1139 and a similarly huge thank you to all of our parent and volunteers who are also moving on to the troop. A number of our scouts attended Narragansett Council’s Cub Scout College this weekend. They worked hard all day learning about maps, collections and physics through fun games and activities. They also completed FOUR adventures, earing a bunch of new belt loops. Great work by all of our “college graduates”!
Pack 7’s annual Pinewood Derby was held on January 14 at the North Smithfield High School. Our scouts and their siblings built almost 70 speedy and unique cars. Congrats to all of our racers, winners and those who moved on to the regional competition. We’re already thinking about next year, and we hope you are too!
